 Community and voice

While in her undergrad, Sarah began volunteering as a vocal director, and ultimately as a conductor, for Markham Youth Theatre. She was involved in community theatre as a child and teen, and absolutely loved the experience. Her passion to give back to the community through music did not end there. After graduating with her Masters degree, Sarah took the plunge and sprung into the world of owning her own teaching studio. Sarah teaches private and small group classes in York Region and continues to give back to the community by organizing many studio performances for senior residences and other community-based events.

Sarah is passionate about making music, specifically voice, accessible to communities such as Stouffville. Sarah believes that it is a great way for singers to share their passion and craft while giving back to their communities and it is such a great way to develop the skills needed to be a confident singer.

Sarah is an avid performer and continues to work as a freelance musician.
